A night with Night

Night is an all or nothing kind of friend. He's polite to people, of course, and even friendly, but he classifies friends as the people he'd give anything for, the people he'd spill his deepest secrets to. This doesn't mean he won't hang out with other people. He's just rather selective. His ideal friends are laid back and outgoing, probably fairly extroverted, although that's certainly not a rule. They're loyal and they aren't cruel, although they may not be the nicest people around. A little rivalry between houses is completely natural, and he accepts it, even partakes in it. He feels safe with these people, and they probably feel safe with him.

Night is sure to have enemies; while he's not a huge fan of getting into fights, if he can help it, he won't hesitate if he thinks it's worth it. He is very noble, deep down, but that gets overwhelmed by his emotions. He's sure to have said or done something that has made someone mad. He also doesn't hide himself; he's fairly open about his opinions, be they positive or negative. He certainly doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about enemies he's made, but they're sure to exist.

Much like with his friends, Night is all or nothing with his romantic interests. He's very devoted, and fairly romantic. He doesn't know what exactly he wants in the woman he'll eventually married, but she has to be generally good and at least appreciated his love of Quidditch, if she doesn't share it. If she doesn't share it, she's probably equally passionate about something else. He's willing to give a girl a chance if she's a good person, especially if she's the one who asks. That, he thinks, is a very courageous move, especially because there have certainly been times that he's been too shy to speak to a girl he was crushing on. He's bound to move slowly at first, judging the way the girl reacts and what her boundaries are, and then he dives in.
