Ariel was a unique individual she thought but she also knew that just because she thought something did not mean that it was true. None the less she was making her way down the great hall. She was not bothering anyone or anything and that was when she looked up. The hall was huge and it made her feel like a midget, well no more than her short height already did. So for just a minute she stopped and looked around. At least it appeared empty and that was good. So for now she stood, like a lost puppy because truthfully that was what she felt like. None the less she was still amazed at how big it was and there was no telling how long she would just stand here and admire it.
Francis looked at Ariel but it was not in a longing way or anything like that, no if anything it was more along the lines of what the hell are you doing just standing here looking like an idiot way. Either way this had caused him too, now to be standing here looking like an idiot.
"I think that this is the part where we move,"
he said as he rougly attempted to guide her to somewhere else. It was not that he was trying to be rude but you could not just stand in such a massive space without perhaps wanting to get trampled. In all honesty he did not know the girl that well but in his mind no one deserved to be trampled over.
Well no that was a lie, there was the occassional person but not her at least as far as he knew her. As far as he could tell the girl was more than likely lost because no matter how many years you attended this school it never really meant that you knew your way.
"Come on, do not stand there as if you have nothing else to do. There's lots of things going on and lots of things that need exploring so let's see just what it is that we can get into that will not get us into trouble yes?"
She seen them walking and that was the only reason that she walked up to them.
Cami "Guys,"
she said in order to get the attention of the both of them. It was not because she craved attention but because she wanted to be able to make sure that they were listening. She had known the both of them about a year because she had never been the type to socialize much but still. You would eventually get to that point where you needed friends regardless of if you wanted it or not.
Cami "Why are you in this hallway all by yourself?"
She got it, understood that the hall was indeed big but even she had to admit that it looked as if they were trying to escape. For the moment though she kept that thought to herself.
Cami "Well?"
Of all times now was the time that they just wanted to stand there like bumps on a log? She was not buying it at all. Also she noted to herself that if something was up then she somehow wanted in. She slowly shook her head at them.
Cami "If you do not tell me then I am just going to assume the worse and no one wants that."
Whenver Ariel spoke she tried to remain positive about everything but one could never tell. She looked at the both of them.
Ariel: I am sure that we can all learn to get along.
If she remembered correctly they were all in the same year or at least close enough that it made no real difference. After a few minutes of thinking she spoke once again.
Ariel: Also I doubt that any of us are really up to anything.
At least she knew that she was not. She also realized that she could truly not speak for any of them but at the moment she was trying to give it her best shot at being positive.
"I think we should just be friends. I mean we are young enough that the truth of it all is that we do not need to be making any enemies."
The truth was that Francis had, had enough of that for a lifetime. he just wanted things to transistion from okay to smooth and eventually better but he knew it was going to be a slow process.
"Everyone also knows that you get way more out of a person when they are a friend than an enemy."
It was the truth. At times that could be hard to accept but it should also be noted that not everyone you met was a friend. That had to be accepted to.
"I'm just putting that out on the table, if you guys do not want to then we can scratch that too."
