Roderick wouldn't befriend someone that he didn't think would be useful to him. Once someone outlives their usefulness, he's quick to drop them. His most loyal friends are within the small circle of pureblood elitists that still remain. However, in recent years Roderick has begun to adopt halfbloods and muggleborns who prove themselves useful into his circle of confidants. Granted, he will always see himself as superior to muggleborns and muggles, but he acknowledges that they can be useful in ways that are foreign to wizards. He also likes to ensure that he has friends in high places; especially in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. After all, he still desires the position of Head Warlock more than anything.
Enemies
It's quite simple: anyone who gets in Roderick's way in an enemy in his eyes. If you disagree with him on almost any matter, you're almost immediately considered an enemy. However, he makes sure to keep his enemies close and will put on a mask of friendship to those he probably hates intensely. Anyone who even thinks of hurting his children and wife are also his enemies.
Lovers
Roderick Brask is married to Emeline Perryn. Their marriage was largely from convenience and mutual blood status appreciation, but he respects his wife enough to stay loyal to her and has never once thought about cheating on her.
